Dubai makes changes to public parking prices across 17 locations

1. Dubai’s parking scene is getting a major overhaul! 🚗💨 The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and Parkin PJSC are introducing new parking tariffs and zones across 17 key areas in Dubai, aiming to streamline traffic and improve parking efficiency.

Key Changes:

• Premium Parking Zones: Introduced in high-demand areas like Downtown Dubai, Business Bay, and Deira, with rates of Dh6/hour during peak hours (8-10 AM and 4-8 PM).
• Peak-Hour Charges: Standard parking rates remain Dh4/hour, while premium parking costs Dh6/hour during peak hours.
• Event-Specific Pricing: Dh25/hour near major event venues like Dubai World Trade Centre and Expo City Dubai.
• Free Parking: Sundays, public holidays, and overnight (10 PM-8 AM) remain free.

New Zones and Rates:

• Al Sufouh 2 (Zone F): Dh2 for 30 minutes, Dh4 per hour, and Dh32 for 8 hours.
• Gate Avenue-Al Khail (365N): 24-hour paid parking with Dh4 per hour or Dh30 for a full day.
• Mirdif and Al Jaddaf: Paid parking with variable rates during peak and off-peak hours.

Why the Changes?

The updates aim to reduce congestion, promote public transport, and improve traffic flow, aligning with Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan.
