The mission of the modern Etihad Museum is to inspire visitors by telling the tale of the UAE’s formation in 21st century. Fittingly, the 25,000 m2 landmark is situated in the exact spot where the United Arab Emirates was established in 1971. The numerous pavilions feature experience-driven exhibitions, interactive programs, and education projects that explore the timeline of events leading up to the unification of the Emirates in 1971, with a focus on the years 1968–1974, through a unique visitor journey. A further goal of the programs is to inform guests about the UAE’s constitution and the rights, obligations, and benefits it grants its citizens.
